2024 WWBC

The Wharton Women Business Conference is our biggest event of the spring semester. Learn from high-profile women leaders in business as they share experiences and advice gained during their careers. Previous keynote speakers have included Kat Cole (President and COO of Focus Brands, former CEO of Cinnabon), Deborah Fine (CCO of Modell’s Sporting Goods & former CEO of Victoria’s Secret PINK), and Michelle Kelly (EVP of Brand Distribution, Marketing, & Merchandising at Lilly Pulitzer). There will also be a panel featuring women from a variety of industries, including retail, finance, entertainment, and tech. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, a LinkedIn photoshoot, goodie bags, and an afternoon mingling with the speakers and fellow Wharton Women members!

 

2026 Committee

Mackenzie Buckner

Mackenzie Buckner (Class of 2028) is from Miami, Florida, and plans to study Mathematical Economics with minors in Consumer Psychology and Spanish. She joined Wharton Women her freshman fall as a member of the Fellows Program. Outside of Wharton Women, Mackenzie is involved in the Society of Undergraduate Math Students at Penn (SUM), Penn Hillel, and on the Women’s club lacrosse team. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, and exploring Philly!

Lily Dirickson

Lily Dirickson (Class of 2029) is from Chicago, Illinois and plans to pursue a concentration in Legal Studies and Business Ethics. She joined Wharton Women her freshman spring as a part of the Wharton Women Business Conference committee. Outside of Wharton Women, Lily is also a part of Wharton Undergraduate Sports Business Club, Special Needs Undergraduate Swim Lessons, and the Chi Omega Fraternity. In her free time she likes to explore the Philly food scene, try out new sports or hobbies, shop, or hang out with friends!

Stayce Mejia Garcia

Stayce Mejia Garcia (Class of 2028) is from Houston, Texas and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and AI for Business, alongside a double minor in Consumer Psychology and Cinema & Media Studies. She joined Wharton Women her Freshmen Spring on the Investments Committee. Outside of Wharton Women, Stayce is involved in Joseph Wharton Scholars, the UPenn Students Federal Credit Union and Wharton UME. In her free time, you can catch Stayce eating around the city, jamming out to music, or watching the latest movies.


Valeria Hernandez Jacobo

Valeria Hernandez Jacobo (Class of 2028) is from Buckeye, Arizona and plans to study Accounting with a minor in Sociology. She joined Wharton Women her freshman spring as a Catalyst member. Outside of Wharton Women, Valeria is involved in Wharton Actuary & Accounting Group, Kayaking@Penn, and is a new member of the UPenn Students Federal Credit Union. In her free time, find her exploring new cafes in Philly, binge watching shows with friends, or hosting dinners and game nights!

Miruna Neamu

Miruna Neamu (Class of 2029) is from Bucharest, Romania and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and Legal Studies and Business Ethics. She joined Wharton Women her freshman spring as part of the logistics team for the Wharton Women Business Conference. Outside of Wharton Women, Miruna is a Joseph Wharton Scholar and is involved with Penn Equestrian (show team & board member), Wharton Undergraduate Hedge Fund Club (Macro committee), Wealth Management Club at Penn (External Events Committee) and is running FeminEast, a financial literacy for women NGO she co-founded in Romania. In her free time, you can find her traveling or spending time with friends. 

Radhika Pant

Radhika Pant (Class of 2028) is from Birmingham, Alabama, and plans to study Operations, Information, Decisions, and Marketing. She joined Wharton Women her freshman spring as a part of University Relations, creating the new Catalyst Program. Outside of Wharton Women, Radhika is involved in Wharton STEP, Penn Thillana, and Wharton Leadership Ventures. In her free time, she is into baking, knitting, and spending time with her friends! 

Addison Saad

Addison Saad (Class of 2028) is from Houston, Texas and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and Marketing. She joined Wharton Women her freshman fall as a member of the University Relations Committee and now serves as a Catalyst Captain. Outside of Wharton Women, Addison is involved in Wharton Impact & Sustainability Consulting (WISC), the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club (WUFC), the Wharton Retail Club (WRC), and the Wharton First-Generation Low-Income Club (WFGLI). In her free time, you can catch Addison shopping, trying new foods, thrifting, dancing, or crocheting.


Raima Srivastava

Raima Srivastava (Class of 2029) is from Princeton, New Jersey, and plans to study Economics. She joined Wharton Women during her freshman spring as part of the University Relations Committee, supporting programming for the Wharton Women Business Conference. Outside of Wharton Women, Raima sings with Dischord A Cappella and Penn Jazz. When she’s not on campus or in rehearsal, she enjoys running, reading, and discovering new Philly restaurants.
