In partnership with the Baker Retailing Center, this year's Wharton Women Annual Dinner centers around the theme Chaos to Couture: Disrupting the Retail Industry. The event includes a career fair with our corporate sponsors, a seated dinner, a discussion with our keynote speaker, a dessert reception, and WW goodie bags!
We encourage sophomores, juniors, and seniors (Wharton or non-Wharton) to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to network, learn, recruit, and eat! Yoga mats will be given out!

Denise Incandela
SVP & Group General Manager of Fashion, Walmart
Denise Incandela is a visionary retail executive who has delivered growth and transformation for brands and specialty retailers for over 20 years. An expert in brand building, retail, digital and marketing, she has a proven track record of exceeding revenue and profit targets, positioning businesses as market-leading performers, and achieving award-winning results.
Currently, Denise is the SVP and Group General Manager of Fashion for Walmart ecommerce. In this role, she is responsible for transforming fashion across Walmart’s U.S. ecommerce platforms, including Walmart.com, Jet.com, Shoes.com, and BareNecessities.com. This has entailed overhauling the fashion shopping experience, materially expanding the product assortment, driving key strategic retail partnerships and acquisitions, and launching high-profile exclusive brands such as EV1 by Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Jeans by Sofia Vergara, and TEXTILE.
Before joining Walmart, Denise was President of Global Digital and CIEM for the Ralph Lauren Corporation, where she transformed its internal digital capabilities, including the turnaround of its global ecommerce business and the creation of global digital centers of excellence.
Previously, Denise was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Saks Fifth Avenue where she oversaw Marketing and Digital. Denise launched the award-winning saks.com and saksoff5th.com businesses and built them from the ground up to be a $1 billion+ destination for online high-end fashion. Prior to Saks Fifth Avenue, Denise worked at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader of their Retail practice.
Denise is on the Board of Directors of the NYC Animal Care Centers and the Industry Advisory Board for The Wharton School’s Baker Retailing Center.
She earned her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and her B.S. from Boston College.
